Cross Country practise

Yesterday the senior school had cross country practise.Room 18 left first then room 17 then room 16 then room 15. Ready set go! '' shouted Mrs Nua. All of the senior school was running and jogging.I was jogging then i felt my heart beating so I walked to catch my breath.I was very very hot so I went to have a drink of water.And I saw Mr Palmer out room 6 after i finish the first lap I went for another lap After it I was exhausted

mahe drysdale wins bronze

Going in to that rowing single skull Mahe Drys dale was the world champion he had a problem with his tummy.When the race started Mahe Drys dale was coming forth when they came up to the 1000 meters he was catching up to the Canadian guy coming first place when they hit the 1500 meters. Mahe drysdale was coming first place but when they came up to the last 500 meters Mahe Drysdale was still coming first place.When they went past the finish line the confirm results came up on the screen.Netherlands first place Greece second place New Zealand third place.

closing ceremony

Yester night it was the closing ceremony of the Beijing there were heaps of fire works in the bird nest stadium and this man banged the big drum with his forceful hands. After Leona Lewis performing on the stage with Billy idol this rock&roll guy

Boom went the drums my body was pumped excitement traditional Chinese drum players were in the middle of the Bird nest stadium banging there force full hands on the drums. Suddenly I saw fire works every where and foot prints in the sky and there were farriers flying around the Olympics rings then a little girl was singing and there were 56 children walking in a line. The children were painting a picture of fire and water

In the weekend there was a storm. I turned on the heater because it was cold i was like a freezer. I looked out the window and i saw trees falling down i saw rain falling down and it was windy as well. Our next door neighbour's gate fell down then a little bit of hailstones came down

immersion assembly

In term3 we are learning about we are the champions in the immersion assembly then Mr Jacobson came in with a bike and Mr Burt was equestrian and his name was Mark Todd.Then team 1 came on the stage and ms Vaafusuaga had rugby clothes After that it was ms Lao she had a fire hose and she had a life jacket ms Lao was a fire fighter after Ms Lao was Ms She was a tennis player Mrs she was Venus Williams.

Motat

We walked in through the door and I saw Richard Pearse's old plane that he made in 1903. It was rusty and the wings were very very paru. There were tyres from another plane and there were heaps of bike parts on it.
Room 15 were on a school trip to Motat with the rest of the senior school because our school's topic is Up Up and Away.
The next place we went into was the hands on area where you could touch any thing in there. My best activity that I did was the musical pipes. You have to smack these tall pipes with 2 jandals and the sound was a booming sound. After that we went in the mirror maze it was scary because I always got lost but I got out.
After that was the tram ride. I sat with my mum. The driver drove us all the way to Motat 2.

Hand glider

As I was playing kicks with my mate I could hear something strange in the air. It was a power hang glider, it went around in circles. The power glider sounded like a motor bike.
When he was finished going around in circles he was gliding and he flew over the playground and he went around the pes resverse to stop.

Helicopter

When I heard the helicopter it sounded like a chukka chukka sound. The people were flying it were the air support unit. They fly the police if there is an emergency. Constable Collin said that there are two engines and he said that the night sun was a bright light, as bright as 30 million candles. He also said that if you go in a helicopter you have to wear a white helmet and a life jacket. Constable Collin told us that when it was night time the helicopter can see heaps of lights.

Hot air balloon

In the morning our whole school walked to the court and we sat down and we saw these two men. It looked like they were building a tent. Their names were Matt and Darryl we found out it was a hot air balloon. Then Darryl was talking about how you have to be safe when you walk around the hot air balloon because when you lean on it you might fall on the hot air balloon. Dargl got these burners, and it looked like the hot air balloon was on fire. The flame was big. the burners were heating up the air in the balloon. Darryl was in the basket and he got lifted high. But he got back down. When the balloon got lifted up the hot air balloon blocked the sun The End

The Pt England Way

We are Room 15 at Pt England School in Auckland, New Zealand. We are learning about the Pt England Way and we are also learning about caring and sharing. Caring is looking after each other sharing some food for other people if they don't have any and looking after the school stuff
